About the Founders of My-FIT-24

In 2007, the Coleman Family—Stacey, Jesse, and their children Bode and Zoe—started My-FIT-24 with a leap of faith and a mini-van. Driven by a passion for exercise science and a desire to help people live healthier, happier lives, they began with in-home personal training and quickly grew into a beloved community fitness center.

Stacey and Jesse opened their first small facility in 2008, originally named Gorham Fitness Studio. This 400-square-foot, third-story office space was where they poured their hearts into providing private personal training sessions. As demand grew, they added group fitness classes, and soon, My-FIT-24 began to flourish.

In 2009, the Colemans moved to a larger location at 17 Railroad Ave, transforming it into a comprehensive fitness center with expanded services and equipment. They built a dedicated team of coaches who shared their passion for helping people achieve their fitness goals. My-FIT-24 introduced 24-hour access, virtual coaching, and numerous community outreach programs, always striving to provide top-notch fitness services and create a supportive, welcoming environment.

The Colemans' commitment to their members and employees fostered a culture of personal and professional development. By offering set hours and schedules for their coaches, they created stable, fulfilling careers in an industry known for high turnover. This approach ensured that My-FIT-24's team remained motivated and focused on members' success.

After 17 years of growth and innovation, in 2024 the Colemans decided to embark on a new chapter. With their children off to college, they sold My-FIT-24 to Ryan Hawes, a Marine Corps veteran and passionate community advocate. Ryan shares their commitment to service and is dedicated to continuing the mission of helping people live stronger, healthier, and happier lives.

Stacey and Jesse remain involved as trainers and consultants to ensure a smooth transition, maintaining the high standards and sense of community that have always defined My-FIT-24. Their journey from a mini-van startup to a thriving community hub is a testament to their dedication and vision, and they are excited to see My-FIT-24 reach new heights under Ryan's leadership.

The Coleman Family thanks everyone for their unwavering support and for being an integral part of their journey. My-FIT-24 has been more than just a fitness center; it has been a second home, a community hub, and a place of personal growth and transformation for many.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Stacey and Jesse Coleman
